Berrien County Parks
Silver Beach County Park is operated by Berrien County Parks and Recreation, although it is located in the City. Click here for information about County-owned parks and beaches. Berrien County sells passes for entry to county parks. Please note that City park passes do not allow entry to Silver Beach, and the County passes do not allow parking in City parks.
Park Passes
Parking passes are required from April 1–October 31 to park at the following locations:
- Tiscornia Beach
- Lions Park
- Kiwanis Park
- 2nd Street Beach
- Whirlpool Compass Fountain (Elm Street lot)
In the future, Riverview Park will also become a pay-to-park facility, use of which will also be included in this pass.
City residents can park for free by applying for an annual permit, starting in February. Residents must register each year, the permits do not automatically renew. Registration grants free parking permits for both City parks and downtown parking. Click here for more information on parking for City residents.
Visitors may purchase time by the hour or day, or purchase a season parks pass from the parking meter located at the parks by entering their license plate number and paying by credit card or cash. Please note that for cash transactions, the machines do not give change. Parks season passes are $40 (note: parks season passes are not applicable to downtown parking).
