Special Event Application
Fraud Alert: The City of St. Joseph has been notified of several fraudulent invoices pretending to be from City departments requesting payment via wire transfer. This is a scam—do not respond. If you receive any questionable communications from the City requesting payment, please call City Hall at 269-983-5541 prior to sending money.
Special events make use of public rights-of-ways, parks, or other properties and require advanced approval by the City Commission.
Please fill out each item as completely as possible to allow your application to be processed without unnecessary delays.
Special events must be approved by the City Commission—we recommend submitting your application at least two months before your organization wishes to receive approval to allow time to work through any potential issues with staff and Commission.
