Hiring: Parks Laborer

The City of St. Joseph is seeking a Parks Laborer to perform a variety of manual labor and semi-skilled tasks to support the operations of the Public Works Department. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

In addition to a competitive salary, the City offers a generous benefits package, including a defined benefit retirement plan. Candidates must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license and be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 120 days of hire. A Michigan pesticide applicator certification is also required within 90 days of hire. The starting hourly rate is $23.56.
