Fraud Alert: The City of St. Joseph has been notified of several fraudulent invoices pretending to be from City departments requesting payment via wire transfer. This is a scam—do not respond. About

The Property Maintenance Board of Appeals duties fall under the International Property Maintenance Code which the city has adopted.  The Board’s duties include:

  1. Acting on property owner requests as they relate to the administrative actions taken by the City in its administration of the International Property Maintenance Code.

Meetings

The Property Maintenance Board of Appeals meets on the fourth Thursday of the month during the months of January through October excluding September. Meetings are held in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 700 Broad Street.

Membership

The Property Maintenance Board is made up of five members and two alternates. Members are appointed by the City Commission and serve a four-year term.
