Property Maintenance Board of Appeals

About

The Property Maintenance Board of Appeals duties fall under the International Property Maintenance Code which the city has adopted.  The Board’s duties include:

  1. Acting on property owner requests as they relate to the administrative actions taken by the City in its administration of the Property Maintenance Code.

Meetings

The Property Maintenance Board of Appeals meets on the fourth Thursday of the month during the months of January through October. Meetings are held in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 700 Broad St.

Membership

The Property Maintenance Board is made up of six members and one alternate. Members are appointed by the City Commission and serve a four-year term.
