Fraud Alert: The City of St. Joseph has been notified of several fraudulent invoices pretending to be from City departments requesting payment via wire transfer. This is a scam—do not respond. If you receive any questionable communications from the City requesting payment, please call City Hall at 269-983-5541 prior to sending money.
About
The Community Development Director is responsible:
- Serves as Zoning Administrator and administers and enforces the Zoning Ordinance.
- Administers and enforces the Sign Ordinance;
- Processing requests for land combinations, land divisions, or boundary adjustments;
- Staff liaison to the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, Planning Commission, and Zoning Board of Appeals;
- Works closely with Assessing, Building Inspections, Engineering, Public Safety and Public Works in the enforcement of adopted rules and regulations and provides technical assistance to the public and development community regarding local regulations; and
- Oversees the Master Plan and Floodplain Management.
