Hiring: Assessing Technician 09-2025

The City of St Joseph is seeking a full-time Assessing Technician to support the City Assessor with technical and clerical tasks in the Assessor’s Office. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with a competitive salary and a generous benefits package, including a defined benefit retirement plan.

Requirements:

• Valid Michigan driver’s license
• Michigan Certified Assessing Technician (MCAT) certification

Pay:

• $28.85/hour (or $33.65/hour with MCAO certification)
