A Jazzy Jolly Christmas with the St. Joseph Municipal Band

The St. Joseph Municipal Band Jazz Band will be presenting its first annual holiday concert - A Jazzy Jolly Christmas - on Friday December 15, 7:00pm in the John and Dede Howard Auditorium at St. Joseph High School in St. Joseph, MI. All who attend this not-to-be-missed concert will be treated to a variety of holiday favorites, all with a jazzy twist. Among the selections will be "Christmas Time is Here" from A Charlie Brown Christmas, "Jingle Bells" as performed by Diana Krall, "Hot Chocolate" from the movie The Polar Express, and Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" as performed by the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

The Jazz Band is composed of members from the St. Joseph Municipal Band, and will be led by Dr. Jonathan Korzun, Director of the St. Joseph Municipal Band. Vocal soloist for the evening will be Lisa Chilton.

For this concert, the Jazz Band will be joined by the St.Joseph Public Schools Jazz Ensembles under the direction of Joshua C. Doe, Director of Bands for the St. Joseph Public Schools.

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. All proceeds will benefit the St. Joseph Public Schools band program.
