General Election

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 - 7:00am to 8:00pm

The general election is Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  Polls are open 7:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. You can check your voter registration status, the status of your request for an absentee voter ballot, and preview the November ballot itself through the Michigan Secretary of State's website at the following link:

Michigan Voter Information Center

Absentee ballots were mailed on Friday, October 7, for all applications received by that date, and thereafter are being mailed promptly as new applications are received.

Please remember, absentee ballots must be returned by 8 pm on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  Postmarks are not accepted.

As Election Day nears, please factor in potential time in transit if applications or ballots are mailed, and consider returning ballots in person to the City Clerk's Office or the drop boxes at City Hall if this is practical for you.

Polling Locations

Precinct 1: City Hall, 700 Broad Street
Precinct 2: Howard Ice Arena Building - 2414 Willa Drive
Precinct 3: Zion Evangelical UCC Church - 3001 Veronica Court
