About
Within the Chapter 2, Article V of the Code of Ordinances, the Municipal Officers Compensation Commission was created with the following responsibilities:
- To determine the salary of each elected official.
Meetings
The Commission meets every two years in odd-numbered years and shall make its determination within 45-days after its first meeting. There shall not be more than 15 session days.
Membership
The Municipal Officers Compensation Commission is made up of five registered electors of the city. Members are appointed by the mayor with approval by the City Commission. Members serve a five-year term.
