The City of St. Joseph is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Public Works Department in the Streets & Sanitation Division as a full-time Truck Driver! This position operates garbage trucks, heavy duty dump trucks and heavy equipment.   Position performs rubbish collection, snow plowing/removal, brush removal or transport of other material. The individual will also perform a variety of manual tasks in connection with rubbish collection operations and assists in loading and unloading material and equipment transported by truck and operates small machinery. Performs other related duties as assigned. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Michigan Driver’s license with a CDL class A endorsement with a good driving record is required.  In addition to a competitive salary, the City provides a generous benefits package that includes a defined benefit retirement plan.
