City Infrastructure Open Houses Scheduled
The City of St. Joseph received a Stormwater, Asset Management and Wastewater (SAW) Grant in October 2014.
The City is nearing the end of the three year grant cycle and work on a comprehensive Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for infrastructure in the Right-of-Way is currently in full swing. As part of the process, three public open houses are planned. The first open house will focus on how the City’s infrastructure works and is scheduled on Saturday, April 22 at Public Works between 10 AM and Noon. The second open house, about managing infrastructure, is planned for Wednesday, May 24 in City Commission Chambers from 6 PM to 8 PM. The third open house will likely be held in the middle of July and provide information on the proposed Capital Improvement Program and rate/tax impacts to achieve the desired schedule.
Additional information regarding the SAW Grant/infrastructure open houses is available on the City of St. Joseph Engineering Department website page. Questions can be directed to City Engineer Tim Zebell at 269-983-5541.
