The City of St. Joseph currently seeking a Water Filtration Plant Maintenance Foreman.
Under the direction of the Water Filtration Plant Superintendent, the maintenance foreman functions include but are not limited to, the day-to-day operations, routine maintenance, and repair of all physical assets of the water filtration plant. All aspects of operations and maintenance are required to meet all State and Federal regulatory criteria. 
Requirements include, but not limited to mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints, troubleshoot mechanical and equipment problems, function as a plant operator and have knowledge of tools, materials, methods and practices used to repair machinery and equipment. An F-4 Certification from EGLE is required or ability to acquire within eighteen months and the ability to maintain certified status throughout employment. Experience in water treatment and equipment repair and maintenance including supervisory experience preferred. Two years of experience in a similar field is desirable.
