Commissioner Christopher C. Heugel
Chris Heugel is the President of Cornerstone Chamber Services. Prior, he was the General Manager of The Boulevard Inn and Bistro for six (6) years. Chris has spent over 20 years in the hotel industry in several capacities. He has been a resident of Southwest Michigan for the past 13 years.
Over the years, Chris has been an active volunteer in the community including, three-time Chairman of St. Joseph Today, board member and Treasurer of the Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Silver Beach Shadowland Operating Committee and Past President of the St. Joseph Kiwanis Club.
"My desire to run for a City Commission seat was the obvious next step for me. What a great way to give back to the city I love," said Heugel. "I want to take an active role in keeping St. Joseph a great place to live, work and play"
Chris has two adult sons.
