The City of St. Joseph is seeking permanent and substitute school crossing guards.

Permanent crossing guards help children safely cross busy intersections on their way to and from school, and control traffic flow around schools in the morning and at the end of the school day. Must have reliable transportation, successfully pass a criminal background check and have the availability to work a shift before school and a shift after school while school is in session. A substitute crossing guard is an on-call position filling in for the permanent crossing guards. This could potentially become a regular crossing guard position. If you are interested, please apply to the Personnel Dept., 700 Broad Street, St. Joseph, MI, by Friday, October 27, 2017.
