 The season runs late November or early December to mid to late March. Because it is an outdoor facility, it is subject to the weather; unseasonably warm weather could affect the season.
In hours when the facility is not available for open skating, it may be rented for private hockey games, parties, or other gatherings. May through October the facility may be rented for in-line skating. Season Passes and rentals may be purchased at the City Clerk's office in City Hall or during Open Skate hours at the Howard Ice Arena office.
