  • Construction Progress Meetings and Site Inspections of ongoing construction projects.
  • Responding to Citizen Concerns including Periodic Updates on Construction Progress.
  • Administration of the City's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permits.
  • Archives infrastructure project record drawings.
  • Plan review and approval of infrastructure related elements of new developments.
  • A Permit is required for work within the Right-of-Way.  The Right-of-Way typically includes the street, tree lawn and sidewalk area in front of your property.  Please refer to the Right-of-Way Permit application - at the link that follows - for additional details on the requirements.

    Napier Langley Traffic Signal - Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Project

    The new Napier Langley traffic signal is now operational and there is a change to the left signal mode of operation.  The protected green arrow has been changed to a permissive/protected left turn.  Please visit the link below if you have questions regarding the operation of the new signals.

    Price Street Reconstruction Project

    Construction on Price Street is substantially complete, the street is expected to be opened to traffic on May 17th, after the concrete pavement has adequately cured.

    2013 CSO Project

    On May 6th, the City Commission approved tentative award of the 2013 CSO Project to B&Z Company.  The predominant source of funding for the project is a State Revolving Fund (SRF) low interest loan which requires tentative award of the project.

    West Highland Reconstruction Project

    On May 6th, the City Commission approved award of the West Highland Reconstruction Project to Kalin Construction.
