City of St. Joseph Water and Sewer Rates
Effective 10/1/07
Charges for water and ready-to-serve charges shall be billed quarterly in January, April, July and October of each year.
A penalty of 10% will be assessed to water and sewer bills not paid by the due date. Failure to receive a bill shall not be considered an excuse for non-payment and shall not entitle the customer to relief from the penalty.
Charges for water consumed per quarter shall be as follows:
$1.20 per 100 cubic feet
Charges for sewer metered per quarter shall be as follows:
$1.82 per 100 cubic feet
In addition to the charges for water used, there shall be a Ready-to-Serve Charge for each quarter as follows:

In July 2000, the City of St. Joseph initiated a fire service fee to pay for capital improvements to the City's water and sewer distribution systems. These fees are billed quarterly based on your meter size.
Minimum per quarter charge for no water consumed or no sewer metered will be the Ready-to-Serve Charge.
