Utility Billing
700 Broad Street
(269) 983-6324
LEARN MORE ABOUT AUTOMATIC BILL PAY!
The Water Department Customer Service Office generates approximately 4,500 bills per month. In addition they are responsible for processing payments, setting up new accounts, maintaining billing and payment records, arranging for final meter reads when service is terminated and arranging for shut-offs of delinquent accounts.
Water bills are mailed on a quarterly basis the first of the month. See Billing Schedule for details of when your bills are mailed. All water bills are due within 21 days. A 10% penalty is assessed on the current water and sewer charges for bills paid after the due date.
The City of St. Joseph allows the use of a sprinkler meter, which can be set for strictly outdoor use. Customers are not charged for sewer usage on the sprinkler meter.

If you have any questions about these topics, please contact the City and we will be glad to help you.
